Yarmouth Greyhound Homefinders is a small, independent charity rehoming retired racing greyhounds across East Anglia.
Founded in 1999 by Stephen Franklin as a welfare organisation, we have found homes for over 2600 greyhounds. The kennels are led by a Kennel Manager supported by a team of part-time kennel assistants.
Fast forward over 25 years and Homefinders is now a small, independent registered charity committed to finding the right home for the right greyhound.
Homefinders takes on the financial responsibility of getting every hound in its care ‘home ready’.
Including routine treatments such as vaccinations, to sorting out teeth or paying for a broken hock to be fixed.
We maintain a lifelong commitment to every dog we home providing support when it’s needed and, if necessary, we will take a dog back into our care however long it has been in a home.

Adopting A Greyhound
Greyhounds make wonderful companions, all with individual personalities, so there is bound to be one that suits your circumstances. Lively, bouncy ones for young families and older, more sedate hounds for retired folk.
We work hard to ensure that we match you with the right dog and encourage potential adopters to make an appointment to meet our greyhounds waiting for their forever homes at our kennels.
Everyone at Homefinders wishes for happy endings for all of the greyhounds in our care.
